The Inaugural Post

For the past six months or so I've been thinking I wanted to try my hand at blogging, give myself the opportunity to let the world know what I think. So why has it taken so long to get started? I could tell its because I haven't thought of anything I wanted to say, but that would be lying. There have been times I've wanted to say something... right here, right now... and by the time I got to a computer I didn't feel this huge need to say it any more.

So what has changed? My technology. I am now the proud owner of a Verizon XV6700 (and the associated Verizon bill for a data service), on which I have loaded, among other things, a copy of PocketBlogger. The theory is that when I have something to say, now I can say it... right here, right now... without the excuse of waiting until I get home. So will I blog or will I become a "blog-fader"? Only time will tell but you will be able to witness the answer here.

So what will this blog contain? Well the reason I names it what I did is that I hope to keep track of all the things in my life that aren't working (and use this to figure out how to make them work if possible). But its also a place to record all the things that do work. Its easy to have things go wrong and to look back at your life and remember all the negative things, it can be harder to look back and remember all the positive things. This blog will help me remember the negative (not that I need any help with that), as well as the positive, and hopefully provide a pick me up when things aren't going well.

So here we go.....
